The Nashua Silver Knights are a collegiate summer baseball team based in Nashua, New Hampshire, and a founding member of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL). The team plays its home games at the iconic Holman Stadium.
In 2023, as a design partner for the Nashua Silver Knights, I was tasked with redesigning their corporate logo to honor Nashua’s history and its connection to baseball at Historic Holman Stadium.
The design featured a night sky with six stars representing the team’s league championships, Holman Stadium’s signature pine trees, and the fierce eyes logo that has been a staple since 2011.
“We wanted the logo to reflect Holman Stadium’s legacy as southern New Hampshire’s hub for baseball and a welcoming symbol of inclusivity,” said GM Cam Cook, referencing the stadium’s role as home to the first racially integrated team in 1946.
The Nashua Silver Knights have a distinctive uniform tradition featuring digital camo sleeves, a military-style typeface, and a 5x championship patch proudly displayed on the right shoulder.
The Nashua Silver Knights pay tribute to their city’s nickname, "Gate City," which highlights Nashua’s pivotal location on the New Hampshire-Massachusetts border. Their updated cap logo features a metallic silver “N” framed by black wrought iron gates, symbolizing the “Gate City” and drawing inspiration from Holman Stadium’s iconic gates.
A menacing blackout uniform set featuring a dark top and matching dark pants, designed to strike fear into the hearts of their opponents. These blackout uniforms are crafted from advanced fabrics designed to wick moisture away from the skin, keeping players cool and comfortable.
A playful tribute to the home team’s favorite salad dressing, this homage celebrates the topping’s origins in Nashua, where it was created in the early 1900s.
To mark the 10th anniversary as one of the founding teams of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League, the Silver Knights unveiled a commemorative logo. This distinctive emblem appeared on uniform sleeves during the 2020 season and was prominently displayed on stadium signage and team apparel.
Following their fifth FCBL championship victory, the Silver Knights commissioned a bold "5X" design to celebrate their achievement. This design was featured on merchandise and stadium signage, highlighting their legacy of excellence.
